NINA BOBO LULLABY

I was in my grandma's home but I brought my stationery tools and my Samsung Note there. I had some illustration orders from my friends so I had to bring all along the trip. I was about drawing something however my mind thought another else and the result is the picture above. It tells about my young grandmother and my baby-version mother. My grandma sang a lullaby until the baby fell asleep. The outfit itself was inspired by my grandma's traditional costume, kemben, that she always wore after taking a bath. The baby wore Batik fabric called as jarik to wind around her body. The background itself inspired by grandma's own original kitchen to cook everyday.
